Back to School Math Centers for Kinder, First, and Second Grade

Hey, y'all! As we gear up for a new school year (I know, I know, the last one just ended!), I like to prep things like math and literacy centers early on so they're done and ready to go.

These back to school math centers are perfect for review skills and setting expectations for how math stations should be used. I spend the first few weeks of school setting expectations for behavior how to take care of our supplies and math centers are the perfect starting point.

The kindergarten centers focus on things like counting to 10, one to one correspondence, and identifying numbers.

First graders, have an idea of how to "do" school, so the review activities are a little more challenging. Students practice adding and subtracting within 12, skip counting, and identifying shapes.

Second graders review comparing numbers, adding and subtracting within 20, graphing, and number order.

These math centers are always a huge hit and students love being independent in their learning. You can find centers for kindergarten to second grade here

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to follow my TPT store for more great resources coming soon. Have a wonderful week and stay cozy.
