Valentines and Saint Patrick's Day Vocabulary Centers

Hey, y'all! My students absolutely LOVE write the room centers and are always asking us how to spell things. So this year, we're going to be joining the two with these monthly vocabulary write the room centers for Valentines and St. Patrick's Day. 

These centers are simple: just print, cut, and tape them up around the room. Students find the picture, then write the word next to the matching picture on their recording sheet. 

For extra fun, put the cards in a seasonal sensory bin. Students dig the cards out of the sensory bin and write the words. 

When the kids are done using these cards as a center, I hang them up near our writing materials so that they can continue to spell the words correctly in their own writing and stories. 

These activities are so simple, but the kids love them and get some spelling practice in at the same time. You can find both of these sets as well as the year-long bundle in my TPT store here.
