Teaching Force and Motion
On Monday, we read a book about force and motion and how things move. Then, we fill in this little foldable illustrating different ways to move.
Tuesday through Thursday, students visit a series of stations investigating how things move.
They experiment with gravity, sort pushes and pulls, read a book about force, and more. These stations are always favorites in my classroom.
On Friday, for a simple assessment, my students brainstorm things they can push, pull, or both. It's a quick and easy way to check students' understanding.
I hope you found some new ideas for your next force and motion unit. Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more great resources coming soon.
Stay sweet,
NICE
