Fall Vocabulary Write the Room Activities
Hey, y'all! Around here, we LOVE fall and all the holidays that go with it. Halloween and Thanksgiving offer so many opportunities to teach vocabulary and integrate the holiday into each subject all season long.
Every year, my students ask me how to spell all of these words related to Halloween and Thanksgiving, so this year we'll be using these write the room cards to help support our writing.
This Halloween write the room is great for teaching students how to spell different words related to Halloween. After it's used for a write the room, the cards can be left up for students to use in their writing throughout the month.
And this Thanksgiving write the room can be used the same way--as a write the room and then for writing support. Of course, the cards could also be used in Halloween or Thanksgiving sensory bins or simply placed in a center.
Each of these write the room activities includes eight cards and one recording sheet making them super low-prep. My students always love write the room activities and your students will, too. These make great options for fast finishers or as part of your holiday lessons.
