Digital Science and Social Studies Units for Google Classroom™
Hey, y'all. This digital learning stuff isn't exactly what we signed up for, or even had the faintest idea we'd be doing back in January. But it doesn't have to be awful. There are some excellent resources we can use to ease this transition and still teach the kids without 50 Zoom meets a week.I'm talking about Google Classroom. It's a fabulous way to teach the kids at their own pace and still get to know what they're thinking. Students can type right into the slides and submit their work whenever they have the time to work on them. The best part is, while we're all learning this digital classroom thing, we can take these new skills in the ACTUAL classroom when we do finally get back to school.
In each unit, students learn essential vocabulary, read and answer questions, and illustrate their learning through art or writing. Each of these units is perfect for the last few weeks of school or any time!
Stay cozy,
