Country Research for Use with Google Classroom™Hey, y'all! One of the best things I've done with my students during this distance learning endeavor has been to provide more open-ended projects. I'll admit, I was scared to do it before, but my littles are rising to the occasion!
I hope to continue using Google Classroom when we return to "normal" for several reasons: less paper, more flexibility, less likely to lose assignments...
The first real assignment my 2nd graders are getting in Google Classroom this year is the Country Research Project. We would have done it with paper and pencil during this unit for reading and social studies. But doing it through Google Classroom opens up a whole other world of possibilities for students to really research their places.
I can't wait to see what their final products look like! If you'd like a copy of this for your students, you can find it here. I'll be adding more resources like this to my store frequently over the next few weeks so be sure to follow me on TPT.
I hope you found some new ideas for you classroom. Have a wonderful week and I'll talk to you soon.
